(Rightallegiance.com) – At least seven individuals were killed, and eight others sustained injuries during a violent stabbing and shooting spree in Tel Aviv, Israel, late Tuesday evening. The attack, which occurred on the city’s Yerushalayim Street, has been described as a suspected terror act by the Israeli Police Spokesperson’s Unit.

The two assailants, who initiated the assault aboard Tel Aviv’s light rail system, continued their rampage on foot before being neutralized by the Municipal Security Patrol, with assistance from armed citizens.
Police forces were immediately deployed in large numbers and began an extensive search of the area, looking for any additional threats that could endanger public safety.
Just before this incident, Israel faced another significant security concern when approximately 180 missiles were fired from Iran, targeting various locations across the country.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that most of the missiles were intercepted by defense systems, though several did manage to strike their intended targets. An Israeli security official noted that the damage from these missile strikes is still being assessed.
This deadly attack and the missile barrage have heightened concerns about rising tensions in the region, with security forces on high alert.
