New York Governor And Stepson Brutally Beaten

(Rightallegiance.com) – Shocking new footage captured the moment former New York Gov. David Paterson and his stepson, Anthony Chester Sliwa, were allegedly beaten by a group of teens and two New York City Housing Authority employees in Manhattan.

Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels and father of Anthony, posted footage of the attack on social media. According to Sliwa, Paterson and his stepson were attacked while walking their dog after confronting a group of teens who had been climbing a fire escape earlier in the evening.

The incident occurred on October 4, and authorities have since arrested two teens and two city workers in connection with the assault. The teens, aged 12 and 13, were charged with second-degree and third-degree gang assault, while the two adults, Travor Nurse and Diamond Minter, face gang assault charges as well.

Nurse, when arrested, claimed that he acted in self-defense, stating that Paterson’s stepson had punched him first. However, Curtis Sliwa refuted these claims, pointing to the footage as evidence that the adults had escalated the violence.

Paterson, who is legally blind, recounted that the altercation began after his stepson confronted the teens for climbing the fire escape. Later, they encountered the same group, leading to a verbal confrontation that soon turned physical.

Paterson stated that he was punched in the face and shoulder, while his stepson suffered more serious injuries, including a cut lip requiring stitches. Despite the attack, Paterson managed to defend himself, throwing one of his attackers against a McDonald’s window.

Curtis Sliwa expressed outrage over the situation, accusing the legal system, specifically District Attorney Alvin Bragg, of siding with criminals over victims. He emphasized that without the video footage, the adult assailants might have avoided accountability.

The police are still searching for five additional suspects and have requested the public’s assistance in identifying them.
