Man Executed By Hitman In Front Of Family

(Rightallegiance.com) – A man from Serbia, identified as Darko Geisler, was brutally killed in front of his family in Brazil last week. Investigations revealed that Geisler, living under a false Slovenian name, was a wanted hitman by Interpol for multiple contract killings.

Luiz Ricardo Lara Dias Jr., the lead officer on the case, stated, “Investigations showed that he lived here clandestinely and under a false Slovenian name.” Interpol had been pursuing Darko for almost a decade, and police suspect that his murder may be connected to his criminal history.

Local authorities, after consulting with the Slovenian consulate in São Paulo, initially identified the victim based on a passport found on him. However, it was later discovered that the passport belonged to a Slovenian citizen who lost it in 2017. Geisler was eventually identified through online photo searches, revealing his status as a Serbian hitman wanted in Montenegro for various crimes.

Geisler had reportedly lived in Brazil for nine years, concealing his true identity after fleeing Montenegro for Bosnia in 2014. He resurfaced in Brazil, where he met and married his spouse. Those close to the couple expressed surprise, as Geisler seemed like a typical family man, taking his son to school and engaging with the local community.

Despite his criminal past, Geisler presented himself as a carpenter who owned a business in his supposed “home country” of Slovenia. Tragically, he met his demise while with his family, captured on CCTV footage as a masked gunman shot him at point-blank range. The killer’s identity remains unknown, having fled the scene in a black car.

Brazilian authorities continue to search for Geisler’s killer, suspecting that his criminal background may have played a role in his death. Collaboration between police in Brazil and Montenegro is underway to unravel the mystery surrounding the hitman’s execution.
