Diddy Combs Arrested For Sexual Assault

(Rightallegiance.com) – Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on Monday in New York, Fox News Digital confirmed. The charges against him have not yet been revealed.

Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ lawyer, responded to the arrest, stating, “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.” Agnifilo described Combs as a “music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist” who has built his empire over the last 30 years. He urged the public to wait until all the facts are presented, noting that Combs voluntarily moved to New York in anticipation of the charges and has fully cooperated with the investigation.

In March, Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami were searched as part of a federal human trafficking investigation. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) confirmed to Fox News Digital that “law enforcement actions” were carried out by HSI New York, with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. They stated, “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

Combs, now 51, also faces several civil and criminal lawsuits. In November, Cassie, legally known as Casandra Ventura, accused Combs of raping her at her home and subjecting her to over a decade of “violent behavior and disturbed demands.” The lawsuit also alleged that Combs forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he watched and filmed.

One day after filing the claim, Cassie and Combs reached a settlement, and she dropped the lawsuit. However, in May, a video obtained by CNN from 2016 surfaced, showing Combs running down a hotel hallway wearing a towel. The video also depicted Cassie walking down the hallway with bags toward an elevator. Combs grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the ground, kicked her twice, and dragged her back down the hallway before taking her bags. Cassie later returned to the area to use a phone.

Following the video’s release, Combs posted an apology on Instagram, stating, “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f—ed up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

Combs further admitted, “I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

In December, just before New York’s Adult Survivors Act expired, three more women came forward with sexual assault allegations against Combs. Joi Dickerson-Neal and Liza Gardner both filed separate claims, accusing him of sexual assault. A Jane Doe also alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Combs, the president of his entertainment company Harve Pierre, and a third individual when she was 17 years old. Court documents detailing the claims were obtained by Fox News Digital.

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a music producer who had previously sued Combs for sexual assault in February, added actor Cuba Gooding Jr. to his complaint. Jones, who worked on Combs’ album “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” alleged that Combs had sexually assaulted him and forced him to engage in sex acts with prostitutes. In response to the lawsuit, Combs’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, said, “These accusations are complete lies,” accusing Jones of filing a $30 million lawsuit for financial gain.

In May, two more lawsuits were filed against Combs. Model Crystal McKinney claimed that she was forced to perform oral sex on him at his recording studio in 2003. Combs denied this allegation, releasing a statement to Fox News Digital, saying, “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.”
